Day1
Welcome to Lima — “City of Kings”
Airport Welcome & City Tour
📷 Pendiente

Your Peruvian adventure begins the moment you land at Jorge Chávez International Airport, where a member of our team will be waiting to greet you and escort you comfortably to your selected hotel. From your very first breath of Lima’s coastal air, you’ll sense the energy of a city that has been shaping history for centuries.

After settling in and enjoying a brief rest, we’ll collect you from your hotel at 2:00 PM to begin an immersive afternoon journey through Lima’s most iconic districts and landmarks. Our first stop is the remarkable Huaca Pucllana, an ancient ceremonial center built from millions of handmade adobe bricks during the 4th century AD — one of Lima’s most important archaeological treasures.

We continue into the UNESCO-listed Historic Center of Lima, visiting the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru and its extraordinary “Treasures of Peru Collection.” The tour concludes in the vibrant modern districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, ending with a spectacular sunset view of the Pacific Ocean at Parque del Amor (Love Park). The tour wraps up at approximately 6:30 PM.

🌙 Overnight in Lima.

🍽 Included meals: None.

ℹ️ Morning tour option available at 9:00 AM (approx. 4 hours) — notify your travel agent in advance.

Day2
Ica, Paracas & Huacachina Oasis
Full Day — Ballestas Islands, Pisco Tasting & Dune Buggies
📷 Pendiente

An early start at approximately 4:00 AM marks the beginning of one of the most diverse days of your journey. Your private transport heads south along Peru’s dramatic Pacific coastline toward the Paracas Peninsula, where we board a motorized boat for the iconic excursion to the Ballestas Islands — home to thousands of Humboldt penguins, pelicans, sea lions, and even the occasional whale.

We continue inland to the city of Ica, the heart of Peru’s wine and pisco-producing region, for a visit to a traditional vineyard. Witness the artisanal production process of pisco from vine to bottle, enjoy a guided tasting of selected varieties, and sit down to a typical regional lunch that showcases the bold flavors of the Ica Valley.

The afternoon brings one of Peru’s most surreal landscapes: the Huacachina Oasis — a shimmering emerald lagoon encircled by towering sand dunes rising up to 100 meters above the desert floor. Buckle up for an exhilarating dune buggy ride, then strap on a sandboard and carve your way down the slopes. The day ends with a spectacular desert sunset that paints the sand in shades of gold and amber.

🌙 Overnight in Lima.

🍽 Included meals: Lunch.

ℹ️ Not recommended for pregnant women, children under 5, elderly travelers, or those with back conditions.

Day3
Cusco — The Imperial City & City Tour
Flight to Cusco — Qorikancha, Sacsayhuamán & More
📷 Pendiente

This morning you’ll board a flight from Lima to Cusco, soaring above Peru’s diverse landscapes before descending into the legendary valley that cradled the heart of the Inca Empire. Upon landing, our team will transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the morning is yours to relax, hydrate, and acclimatize to Cusco’s altitude of over 3,400 meters — a vital first step before exploring the city.

At 1:30 PM we begin an unforgettable afternoon through Cusco’s greatest archaeological and colonial treasures, starting at Qorikancha — the most sacred temple of the Inca Empire, once entirely clad in gold sheets. Following the Spanish conquest, the Convent of Santo Domingo was built directly upon its foundations, creating a remarkable fusion of Incan and colonial architecture that stands to this day.

The adventure continues to the breathtaking fortress of Sacsayhuamán, where massive stone blocks weighing up to 300 tons were assembled with extraordinary precision. We then visit the mysterious ceremonial site of Q’enqo, the strategic military checkpoint of Pukapukara, and finally the serene Tambomachay — the “Inca’s Bath” — where crystal-clear spring water still flows through ancient carved aqueducts to this day. The tour ends near the Plaza de Armas at approximately 6:30 PM.

🌙 Overnight in Cusco.

🍽 Included meals: None.

ℹ️ If you experience altitude sickness, rest and hydrate well. A free day to acclimatize is recommended in serious cases.

Day4
Sacred Valley of the Incas & Aguas Calientes
Pisac, Ollantaytambo & Train to Machu Picchu
📷 Pendiente

After breakfast at your hotel, we collect you at approximately 7:30 AM to begin a full day of exploration through the Sacred Valley of the Incas — a spectacular corridor of Andean landscapes, ancient ruins, and living indigenous communities stretching between Cusco and Machu Picchu.

Our first stop is the magnificent Pisac Archaeological Complex, perched on a dramatic ridge overlooking the Urubamba River. Its vast agricultural terracing cascades down the hillsides in elegant curves, while the upper citadel houses temples and ceremonial spaces carved with extraordinary precision. We then descend to Urubamba for a generous buffet lunch featuring a wide selection of Andean and Peruvian cuisine.

In the afternoon, we visit Ollantaytambo — the only Inca city in Peru where indigenous people have lived continuously since pre-Columbian times — before boarding your selected train service through the spectacular Andean cloud forest toward Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, our team will transfer you to your hotel, where your guide will provide a full briefing on the following day’s visit to Machu Picchu.

🌙 Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

🍽 Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

ℹ️ Train upgrades to executive panoramic or first-class service are available at an additional cost — request through your travel agent in advance.

Day5
Machu Picchu — Wonder of the World
Guided Tour of the Inca Citadel
📷 Pendiente

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll board the buses that wind up the switchback road from Aguas Calientes to the entrance of Machu Picchu. As the bus climbs through the cloud forest and the mist begins to part, the anticipation of what lies ahead is almost electric.

Your expert guide will lead you on a 2 to 3-hour private tour of the citadel, weaving together archaeology, history, astronomy, and Andean spirituality. You’ll explore the Temple of the Sun — aligned with the winter solstice sunrise; the Room of the Three Windows; the Intihuatana Stone, a carved ritual astronomical clock; and the agricultural terraces that kept this mountaintop city fed. Built around 1450 and hidden from the outside world until 1911, Machu Picchu continues to amaze and inspire all who visit.

After the tour, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace before boarding the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where lunch is included. In the afternoon, board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our team will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.

🌙 Overnight in Cusco.

🍽 Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

ℹ️ For peak season (April to September), we strongly recommend booking at least 5 months in advance.

Day6
Humantay Lake
Trekking to a Turquoise Andean Gem
📷 Pendiente

Today’s adventure begins before sunrise at approximately 4:30 AM, when your transport departs Cusco toward the west through the dramatic Apurímac River Valley. After two hours of travel, we arrive in the charming village of Mollepata for a hearty breakfast — fresh bread, eggs, local cheeses, hot beverages, and seasonal Andean fruits — designed to fuel your body for the physical challenge ahead.

From the trailhead at Soraypampa, the hike to Humantay Lake takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes of steady uphill walking through pristine Andean wilderness. The trail climbs through puna grasslands dotted with wildflowers, with the imposing Humantay glacier growing ever larger above you. As you approach the summit, the lake suddenly reveals itself: a perfectly still sheet of turquoise water cradled in a natural amphitheater of granite and ice at approximately 4,200 meters above sea level.

Take your time here — photograph, meditate, and connect with one of the most spiritually charged landscapes in all of Peru. After soaking in the views, we descend back to Mollepata for a celebratory buffet lunch before returning to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 PM.

🌙 Overnight in Cusco.

🍽 Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

ℹ️ Not suitable for people with hypertension, respiratory conditions, or heart problems. Horse rental available at the trailhead at additional cost.

Day7
Moray Terraces, Maras Salt Mines & ATV Adventure
Hidden Treasures of the Sacred Valley
📷 Pendiente

After breakfast, we depart at approximately 7:30 AM toward the northern Sacred Valley for two of the most fascinating and visually striking Inca sites in the region — connected by an adrenaline-fueled ATV ride through the Andean countryside.

Our first stop is Moray — a place unlike anything else in the Inca world. Rather than towering fortresses, Moray presents a series of deep, concentric circular terraces carved into the earth like a gigantic natural amphitheater. Each ring creates a distinct microclimatic zone, with temperature variations of up to 15°C between the topmost and bottommost rings. Archaeologists believe this was the world’s first controlled agricultural laboratory, where Inca scientists developed crops for different altitudes across the empire.

From Moray, we head to the Maras Salt Mines — approximately 3,000 individual salt pools cascading down the hillside in a stunning tapestry of white, pink, and terracotta, fed by a single saltwater spring channeled since pre-Inca times. Watch local workers in colorful ponchos carefully harvest salt using the same ancestral techniques passed down through generations. We return to Cusco at approximately 1:00 PM, leaving you a free afternoon to explore the city at your own pace.

🌙 Overnight in Cusco.

🍽 Included meals: Breakfast.

ℹ️ ATV not recommended for pregnant women, children under 5, elderly travelers, or those with back problems. Regular vehicle tour available — notify your agent in advance.

Day8
Rainbow Mountain — Vinicunca
Summit at 5,036 Meters Above Sea Level
📷 Pendiente

Another pre-dawn start at approximately 4:30 AM takes you southeast from Cusco through the high Andean plateau. After two hours of travel, we arrive in the village of Pitumarca for a traditional local breakfast to fuel the body and warm the spirit before the climb ahead.

The hike to Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes of steady uphill walking through high-altitude Andean landscapes. Along the way, herds of alpacas and llamas graze peacefully in the surrounding pastures as traditional Andean communities go about their morning routines. Upon reaching the summit at 5,036 meters above sea level, you’re greeted by one of the most extraordinary natural spectacles on Earth: geological striations of red, ochre, pink, green, purple, and gold formed by the oxidation of different minerals over millions of years.

On a clear day, the view extends across a sea of Andean peaks in every direction — a moment worth every early alarm, every aching muscle, every breath of thin mountain air. After time at the summit, we descend to Pitumarca for a warm and comforting lunch before returning to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00 PM.

🌙 Overnight in Cusco.

🍽 Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

ℹ️ Not suitable for people with hypertension, heart conditions, or respiratory problems. Horse rental available at the trailhead at additional cost.

Day9
Route of the Sun — Cusco to Puno
Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, La Raya Pass & Pucará Museum
📷 Pendiente

Today’s journey is one of the most historically and scenically rich overland routes in all of South America — the legendary “Route of the Sun.” We board our transport at approximately 6:20 AM, heading south through the Andean highlands. Our first stop is Andahuaylillas, home to the Church of San Pedro Apóstol — known as the “Sistine Chapel of the Americas” for its extraordinary floor-to-ceiling murals, gilded altars, and Cusco School paintings that rival the finest churches of Europe.

We continue to Raqchi, the site of the imposing Temple of Wiracocha — dedicated to the supreme creator deity of the Inca pantheon — surrounded by the remains of over 200 cylindrical storehouses that once supplied the empire’s logistical network. A generous buffet lunch is served along the route, featuring national and regional Peruvian cuisine with warm beverages and desserts.

We climb to the breathtaking La Raya Pass at 4,338 meters above sea level — the natural boundary between the Cusco and Puno regions — before stopping at the Pucará Lithic Museum, home to important pre-Inca ceramics including the famous Hatunñaqac sculpture. We arrive in Puno at approximately 5:30 PM.

🌙 Overnight in Puno.

🍽 Included meals: Lunch.

ℹ️ Bring a warm layer — several stops are above 4,000 m. Luggage travels safely in the vehicle hold throughout the journey.

Day10
Lake Titicaca
Uros Floating Islands & Taquile — Living Traditions
📷 Pendiente

After an energizing breakfast, we head to the port of Puno at approximately 7:00 AM to begin a magical journey across Lake Titicaca — the highest navigable lake in the world at 3,812 meters above sea level. Our first destination is the legendary Uros Floating Islands, an archipelago of approximately 70 artificial islands handcrafted entirely from totora reeds. Your hosts will demonstrate how the islands are built, show you inside their reed homes, and share the traditions and daily rhythms of life on the lake — a profoundly human encounter and a reminder that ingenuity knows no limits.

We continue by boat to Taquile Island, a tranquil and extraordinarily beautiful island inhabited for over 10,000 years and internationally recognized for its exceptional textile tradition. Its men and boys knit constantly, producing intricate chullos and sashes whose patterns communicate social status and community identity — a tradition inscribed by UNESCO on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2005.

We enjoy a traditional lunch at a family-run restaurant on the island, featuring freshwater trout, quinoa soup, and local specialties. After lunch, free time to explore the hilltop plaza and browse the artisan stalls before the boat returns to Puno in the late afternoon.

🌙 Overnight in Puno.

🍽 Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

ℹ️ Apply sunscreen generously — UV radiation at altitude is significantly stronger. Bring cash for souvenir purchases.
